The Rotary Club of Natick is asking for your help in raising awareness and funds to help fight the opioid crisis that has affected our community. We will be hosting our “February Flurry” on February 10, 2018. The goal of the event is to foster interaction between the business community and the organizations that are making a strategic difference in the fight against opioid addiction.

For more than 90 years, the Rotary Club of Natick’s members have used their passion, energy, and intelligence to take action on sustainable projects. The opioid crisis is now front and center stage for us and we have already started to make an impact in the community by:

•Working with the Natick Police and Town Administration to pay for shipping of prescription drugs to be destroyed
•Working with the Opioid Task Force to develop a communication strategy and helping to offset printing cost for educational material
•Sponsoring educational opportunities featuring leaders in the opioid addiction community to raise awareness throughout the community

However, we’ve only just begun and there is much more work to do. We hope that you can join us for a great night of learning and fundraising for a worthy cause.
