Natick Rotary Sprocket 3/8/16

The meeting was called to order by President, Trish Kelly, Sergeant at Arms Sharon Sharpe led us in the Pledge of Allegiance. Verna led us in a singing of “When Irish Eyes Are Smiling”, and Dr. Keefe gave the invocation.

Today’s Guests: Grant Recipients: Lauren Mann/Natick Service Council, Jane Harvey/Natick Community Organic Farm, Susan Moriarty/VNA, Deb Sayre/Kids Connect, Tal Lieber/Metrowest Mediation, Sue Crossley/Family Promise, Lauren Alongi/Jeff’s Place, Garrett Mann/Top Soccer, Lee Stone/Hope for Haiti, Joanne Barry/A Place to Turn, and prospective member, Richard Tabor.

Announcements:

  • St. Patrick’s Day Senior Brunch this Sunday, 3/13/16, 8:00 AM – 12 Noon at the Natick Community/Senior Center.
  • Open Door this Thursday at St. Paul’s with a Maple theme and Peter asks for those that are able to arrive at 4:00 PM, as the prep time is more significant for this dinner.

Presentation of Grant Awards

Each of the Grant Recipients, which were present, accepted their grant awards, then spoke briefly about the people and groups they serve and discussed the services their organizations provide.
