SPEAKER –

This was a club assembly, with updates from the various areas:

Dr. Keefe: Our club has 43 members, 30 with attendance commitments. As mentioned, we were at 70% for September which is great.

David: September was a good month financially due to the Golf Tournament. We probably made around $17K.

Artie: Meeting Speakers are booked through November.

Trish: Board approved sending a student to World Affairs Seminar in Wisconsin next June.

George: Home Depot plant projects will continue, probably one in January and again in the spring.

Tobe: A Place to Turn has been scheduled through December.

Mark: Interact will be moving forward, waiting to hear back from schools. The Foundation: first students approved. Applying for a grant for next year with Food Pantry, A Place to Turn and Open Door. Embrace a Family has a lot of clients they are working with.

Peter: Focusing on PR. Finding speakers who can draw from the larger community, not just Rotary. Alan Weiss is coming October 27th. Eric will put up a registration page. Speakers in the Fall and Spring may be a good model.

Trish: We have 2 grant requests at this time.

Joey: Membership: when we have good speakers we should invite non-Rotarians. Natickopoly will also be an opportunity to expand membership.

Trish: We are considering having one meeting per month in the evening, any feedback is encouraged.

Next week, meeting at 11:30 before the club meeting to discuss Natickopoly. Looking at clubs that have done it to try to use best practices and avoid problems. Peter is helping with the layout.

RAFFLE

We started a new process, where if the Queen of Hearts is not drawn the raffle winner gets the value of their card. Bryan had the winning ticket and drew the 5 of diamonds.

Respectfully submitted,

Rotarian Bryan
