Lauren Mackler – Coach and Bestselling Author

An innovative navigator of change for over 20 years, Lauren Mackler is a renowned coach, consultant, speaker, educator, and creator of the Illumineering Coaching method. She is the author of the international bestseller, Solemate: Master the Art of Aloneness & Transform Your Life, fellow author of Speaking of Success with Jack Canfield and Stephen Covey, a frequent commentator for CNN and FOX, and blogger for the Huffington Post.

During her career, Lauren has also been a psychotherapist, corporate executive, and host of the Life Keys show on Hay House Radio. Prior to entering the personal and professional development fields, Lauren was a vocalist with Tuxedo Junction and a host on the PM Magazine TV show. After attending a life-changing seminar in the 1980s, she left the entertainment industry to become a psychotherapist.

After living in Europe for several years, Lauren returned to the U.S. and expanded her work to the corporate arena. Prior to founding her own firm in 2001, she led Arthur Andersen’s People Strategy consulting practice and served as Vice President of Learning and Organizational Development at Boston Financial.

Lauren brings her coaching and consulting expertise, keynote presentations, workshops, and training programs to individuals, groups, and organizations around the world. Her work has been covered widely in the media, including NPR, CNN, FOX, Wall Street JournalForbes, and many other outlets. Lauren has served as a faculty member at Babson College and Northeastern University, guest lecturer at Brandeis and Harvard Universities, and featured presenter at Canyon Ranch, Omega, and Kripalu.

Lauren holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Master’s level German certification in Psychotherapy, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
