Speaker:

Guest Speaker was Ralph Letner, speaking today as a member of the Natick Elderly and Disabled Taxation Fund.

The organization helps to defray the costs of real estate taxes for those who qualify. Qualifications include age, assets, income status, and disabilities.

Applications are available on line, at the Town Hall, and at the Community Senior Center.

The fund averages approximately $10,000 per year in donations from Natick citizens. There is a donation slip at the bottom of Natick real estate tax bills. Last year 10 citizens received help from the fund.

Decisions are made once a year, and the gifts are typically used toward the last tax bill of the year. Donations are tax deductible.

Raffle:

Nancy N. had the lucky number – but no luck with the queen. Better luck next time.

Fondly Submitted –

A. James Meyer
