Rotary 5 Minutes :
Joe Keefe spent his 5 minutes taking a stroll down memory lane (well actually East Central Street). He described East Central Street as it was when he and Barbara moved to town 60 years ago in 1956. He spoke about many of the current building locations, tracing back in time to which buildings and businesses where there. Joe was really able to make us feel as though we were present at the time.
Joey and Peter:
Joey and Peter spoke to us about the proposed fund raiser for Natick-Opoly.
· This will be a fund raiser for the club.
· They are looking to make it very fun and attractive to buyers
· They are hoping to create a mix of entrepreneurship (making money) and community service. There will be 2 ways to win the game – by making money or community service.
· Peter and Joey will be developing a process to develop the game and to raise money
· They would not tell us the “Dope” name that they are thinking about.
Raffle:
Vinny had the winning ticket. He did not pick the Queen
