The meeting was called to order by President Judy, Mark led us in the pledge, Verna played “Dark of Winter”, and George Levoy provided our invocation.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
President Judy announced that:
- Ski Trip was great fun last week and Judy thanked Rachel and Bryant for their hard work.
- Place to Turn arrangement with Rotarians doing their shopping is working very well
- St Patrick’s Senior Brunch reservations are full for 3/15/15. We need all hands on deck for helpers
- District PR & Award Dinner is to be held at the Boxborough Holiday Inn Mar 20, 2015 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM
- Maple Sugar Tours are available at The Natick Community Organic Farm When: February 23 through late March 28 Time: Monday – Friday 1:00 pm, 3:30pm & 4:15 pm Saturdays 10:00am & 11:00am Fee: $7/person (no charge for babies on back). Tours are approximately 45 minutes – 1 hour in length. Pre-registration is required. Please call the Farm at 508-907-6019 to check on availability. Then print out a maple sugaring registration form and send completed form along with your payment to: NCOF, 117 Eliot Street, Natick, MA 01760.
- Family Promise will host a Walkathon on April 11 at Natick Common. For more info http://www.familypromisemetrowest.org/events.html
- Our Club website is live try it out at natickrotary.org
- Installation of Officers will take place on (Monday) June 15 from 7-10 pm at the Wellesley College Club with passed appetizers and a cash bar.
- Peter Golden announced that Open Door is this Thursday March 19 at 4:15-6:15
- Next Tour Meeting is on March 17 at 11:30 before our regular meeting
CLUB ASSEMBLY:
- Golf Tournament is set for September 18, 2015 at Juniper Hill
- Installation of Officers will be June 15 at Wellesley College Club
- The Board awarded A Place to Turn $600.00 (possible Field trip to the food pantry at a future date)
- The Board accepted the resignation of Jeff Prag (he will still assist with the Tour…)
- Judy then discussed some ground rules on Club dues. If you are in arrears on dues please pay up. If you are unsure contact David Rhee at David@dyrhee.com. Also if you are requesting a leave of absence the entire bill must be paid before a leave is granted, and when on leave of absence you must continue to pay dues but the meals are taken off the quarterly bill.
- We then heard a variety of committee reports:
Secretary – We have 49 members with 7 Honorary 42 Active with 4 on leave of absence

Greg reported that Make a Difference has distributed $3,000 to children for driving lessons, and many things that they couldn’t afford otherwise
Peter reported that Angels of Hope is going very well
Judy reported that Embrace a Family continues to have multiple clients and they are benefitting from 4 marathon runners again this year and the Mother’s Day run put on by Strivers Register at http://striversmd5k.com
Judy then read a few thank you notes to both Embrace a Family and our Club
- Rachel reported that Mutual One Committee recently awarded Natick Center Associates over $9,000, Service Counsel $20,000, and Spark kindness over $9,000. Thank you to our most generous corporate neighbor!
- Mark discussed the Rotary Foundation. The club is contributing from the raffle and happy dollars an average of $125 per member to the Foundation. This allows our club access to grants and funds for our causes that would not be available to us otherwise.
- Judy informed the Club that she had applied for the Club Service Award for our work with the food pantry at Natick Service Council, and the shopping at A Place to Turn under the project heading of “Feed Natick”
RAFFLE: Scott had the right ticket and pulled the Queen of Hearts J Congratulations Scott!!!
