This meeting was called to order by President Judy Shea, Mark S led us in the pledge. Verna played the English “National Anthem”, President Judy provided out invocation giving thanks to those who make a difference.

Announcements:
· Judy asked every member to update their Calendars as volunteer season is upon us. Stating with Father’s Day Tour de Natick on June 21st. We will need all members to commit to showing up and assisting. The Cheery Plant delivery will be on June 6th meeting at Home Depot and delivering plants from 9:00 to 10:30. We need a few more volunteers for this event.
· Steve gave a “Tour” update, reminding club members that this Friday 5/15/15 is the deadline for sponsors that want to be listed on the posters to be printed. Please solicit your contacts for sponsorships and if you have any commitments notify Vinnie by email by Friday at the latest. Vincent
· 5K Mother’s Day run/Strivers to benefit “Embrace a Family” was run this past Sunday and boasted it biggest field of participants yet 800 people
· District Conference is this weekend. If interested visit www.rotary7910.org also for other events
· Judy offer her thanks to Rachel and Scott for planning the Rotary field trip to Broadmoor last week.
· Mark reminded the Club that June 15th will be our Annual Installation of Officers. Invitations have been mailed to each member, please RSVP as soon as possible if you and any guest will be attending (mablumenthal) Hank Philippi Ryan will be the featured speaker for the evening.
· There will be no regular meeting on June 16 due to the installation on Monday night June 15th.
· Vinnie reminded members that the Open Door we host will be this Thursday night 5/14/15. He asked for volunteer from 4:15 – 6:00 pm. Anyone who can make a meatloaf let Vinnie know Vincent
Guest Speakers:
Our Guest Speakers today were Sam Swisher and Sherrie Wittemore from the Framingham Rotary Club. Their topic was the Bandey-Hefler Exchange program. This is a program put together in 1977 by two Rotarians, one from Dedham and one from England. It involves three Rotary Districts in England and our own District 7910. The premise of the Exchange in to host a couple from England for 3-4 days this coming September. They are looking for a total of 82 hosts. They stay for two weeks but only with each host for a few days. In return you become eligible for a similar trip to England where you only expense if the airline ticket, as the English folks will host you in the same manner. They both talked about their own experiences hosting and told that it was great fun.
