About the Campaign
Horse Tales is a unique week-long reading and riding summer program for children in 4th or 5th grade who aren’t confident or engaged readers and could use extra literacy help. Every day, campers enjoy riding, learning about and caring for horses, and learning about famous horses with special talents. Literacy skills are woven into every activity–even the riding! At the end of the week, participants take home a personal library of horse-themed books.
