Service Above Self can also mean showing up, having fun and connecting with our community!
Natick Days is one of our favorite days of the year, and Natick Rotary was excited to once again be part of this annual celebration in downtown Natick. The streets were filled with families, kids, food, music and the wonderful community spirit that makes Natick such a special place to live.
Our booth was a busy stop throughout the day, featuring mini trampolines, our fishing “pond,” and a very special guest — Latte, the ball python! Kids had a blast bouncing, fishing and meeting Latte, while parents and families stopped by to learn more about Natick Rotary and the work we do in our community.
Natick Days is a great opportunity for local organizations to come together and celebrate the people and programs that make Natick a vibrant community. For Natick Rotary, it’s also a chance to connect with our neighbors outside of our regular meetings and share what Rotary is all about.
Throughout the year, Natick Rotary supports Natick Public Schools, local nonprofits, scholarships, literacy programs, community grants and a variety of service projects. But community service isn't always about fundraising or writing a check. Sometimes it's simply about showing up, getting involved and creating a fun experience for our neighbors.
And, of course, sometimes it involves a ball python!
We loved seeing so many familiar faces and meeting so many new ones at Natick Days. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to visit — we’ll see you next year!
